Childhood Cancer Awareness

Childhood cancer is the #1 cause of death by disease in children, yet it receives less than 4% of the NCI's annual cancer research budget.  Due to this and the lack of funding for childhood cancer research, kids are left with no choice but to endure toxic treatments.  If the treatment works, children are often left dealing with life-threatening side effects for the rest of their lives.  This is just one of the many reasons why it is so important that we advocate!
